Worship@1st provides opportunities for those with musical interests and talents to serve in worship. In addition we plan and promote worship opportunities for First Lake through regular weekly services and special worship events. If you are interested in choir, singing a solo performance, or play any instrument, you are invited to join Worship@1st. The Women’s Ministry of First Lake furthers the church’s mission by engaging women with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, educating Christian women by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and experiencing faith through women-focused missions. The prayer team engages the local church with the purpose and power of prayer, educates the church on the practice of prayer, and encourages followers of Christ to experience prayer in greater and more dynamic ways. Missions@1st leads the church in living out Acts 1:8, where Jesus says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." We strive to make the name of Jesus known locally and abroad. We do this through planning events and trips, as well as supporting missionaries and church planters. Men@1st makes disciples of men. This ministry aims to engage men with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, educate Christian men through the Gospel, and lead men to experience faith by living out the Gospel. Please see Ryan Reeves or Greg Ware if you would like more information about joining Men@1st!
First Lake's kids ministry provides a Bible-based, age appropriate community for kids, birth-6th grade. We invite every child into God’s story by showing and sharing the love of Christ with them from the day they are born. We also desire to stand with you in ministering to the family God has given you, and assisting in laying a spiritual foundation to lead your child into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Discipleship@1st is a ministry of First Lake that creates meaningful opportunities for members and guests to develop spiritually in a small group setting. Small groups meet at various times throughout the week and include groups for men, women, and couples. Please see Bro. The Senior Adult Ministry of First Lake increases Christian fellowship among senior adults, creates discipleship opportunities for senior adults, and provides mission opportunities for senior adults. If you would like more information about Senior Adults@1st, please contact Diane Usry.
The Outdoor Ministry of First Lake engages men and women with a passion for outdoors activities, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We using hunting and fishing as an avenue to reach people with these same passions. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, please contact Daniel Dilley.
The student ministry of First Lake aims to engage students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, educate students by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and lead students to experience faith by living out the Gospel through missions.
